Terms of use
Last updated September 2026
By using the Spoonful website you agree to these terms. The mobile app has its own in-app terms; they match this page in spirit.
The product
Spoonful helps you find, write and cook recipes, track food, shop and share a household. It is a tool, not a clinic. Nutrition numbers can be wrong. AI output can be wrong. You remain responsible for what you cook and eat.
Accounts
You may browse this marketing site without an account. This site itself has no forms and stores nothing on our servers — if you need us, write to hello@spoonful.app. In the app, Settings offers a full data export and account deletion.
Your content
Recipes, photos and comments you create stay yours. You give us a licence to host them so the app can show them to you and, if you choose, to your household or the community. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share. We may remove reported content after review.
Acceptable use
No scraping the library for resale, no abuse of the AI quota, no harassment in the community. Moderators can hide or remove posts. We can close accounts that break these rules.
Liability
The site and app are provided as they are. We work to keep them up, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We are not liable for ruined dinners, missed macros or allergic reactions. That limit does not affect rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page is the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new text.
